• 2 bottles of CLASS A Chardonnay Handwerk* 2016 dry organic 13.5% alcohol

2017 CLASS A – Pinot Gris from Limestone Marl Dry Organic*

The best of five Pinot Gris worlds combined precisely reflects the limestone marl on which the vines grow in our vineyard in Vendersheim.

Delicately spicy bouquet with hints of olive herb and thyme, some pear, apple, melon and walnut. Creamy fruit taste with gentle acidity and subtle fruit sweetness. The pronounced minerality makes it really crunchy at the end.

2016 CLASS A – Pinot Gris Handwerk organic*

The best of five Pinot Gris worlds combined and more strongly selected, the grapes are a little more brutal due to their south-west location in our vineyard in Wolfsheim.

Very present in the mouth: ripe apple, exotic fruits (pineapple, passion fruit, mango, everything ripe too with fine acidity), even Amarena cherry, also, albeit subtly, the marzipan from the scent, plus some white cocoa and white pepper (Zalto). Despite all the inviting fullness, this wine is beautifully differentiated and balanced, structured, as creaminess and freshness go hand in hand.

2016 CLASS A – Chardonnay Handwerk dry organic*

We have refined our CLASS A philosophy through a further expansion in style and applied it to our Chardonnay vineyard. The 2016 CLASS A Chardonnay bloomed in 2021 and shows the tools with which a Chardonnay from calcareous soils can be armed. A pleasure like a symphony that balances the palate.

Elegant and at the same time with precise minerality, it sings with notes of peach, mirabelle plum, apricot and papaya.
